Lion Lager

Undoubtedly one of the best selling Sri Lankan mild beers, Lion Lager has a 4.8% alcohol volume and is credited as a great thirst quencher. 

Golden roasted malt in colour with a hint of fruit and caramel flavouring, it is very slightly sweet with less hop notes. 

The attractive labeling is in sophisticated black and gold, showcasing strong but watchful golden lion as the king of the savannah, symbolising visionary leadership and power.

Medium straw in colour with a  green/gold hue. Crystal clear with lively effervescence and fresh lime, white peach and lifted floral aromas. Bright and flavoursome with red berry, citrus and peach flavours. Creamy and balanced with a natural acid finish.

Produced from Traminer grapes grown on the Oatley family vineyards at Mudgee NSW, this is a typical lightly sparkling (or ‘spritzig’) wine that should be served young and fresh, well-chilled, as an aperitif or partner to fresh fruit desserts. Refreshingly spritzy, naturally effervescent, with lifted exotic aromas, floral and intensely grapey flavours, low alcohol and a hint of sweetness.

Deep Ruby/Purple in colour with intense, rich, dark berry and vanilla pod aromas with a hint of clove spice. Very good fruit intensity of dark plum and cassis on the palate, with well integrated oak. The wine has soft velvety tannins and a good length.

Block 50 Shiraz varietal presents a crimson red colour lined by purple tinges. Aromas of plums, raisins and berries flow off the luscious nose, moving on to the juicy palate full of blackberry, blueberry, cassis and plum flavours.

Gemtree Luna Temprana Tempranillo is a delicious example of this native Spanish variety that is thriving in the mediterranean-like climate of McLaren Vale. Aromatic with lovely bright red and blue fruit notes, this is a juicy, textural wine with bright blueberry and cherry cola flavours. From McLaren Valley, SA.

Morgan Simpson basket press shiraz from McLaren Vale has a a little less alcohol and a tad more complexity than ususal. A dead set winner with dark fruit, old leather and chocolate. Grainy tannins taper off a long finish.
